== History ==
The 75th anniversary was celebrated with a 48-hour ''Itchy & Scratchy'' Diamond Jubilee Marathon, which [[Bart]] and [[Lisa]] watched late at night. The following day, [[Springfield]] held a large anniversary parade featuring floats, characters, and tributes to the history of [[Itchy]] & [[Scratchy]]. Bart and Lisa attended the celebration with [[Homer]], although their view of the parade was initially blocked by a large stand.
