'''''Star Trek''''' is a 1966-1969 U.S. science fiction TV series, which gained a cult following for its clever scripts, adventurous plots and social commentary. Between 1979 and 1991, six film adaptations were made starring the regular cast members, including [[William Shatner]] ([[Captain Kirk]]) and [[Leonard Nimoy]] ([[Spock]]).
